l  The topics may cover all major themes of neuroscience, including development, neurophysiology, glia, neurological and psychiatric disorders, sensory systems, motor systems, systems neuroscience, behavioral homeostasis, emotion, cognition, and novel technologies. 

l  Each symposium proposal may have 1-2 chairs. The chairs must be a member of CNS, JNS, or KSBNS, and may be a member in the SPC. Chair could also serve as a speaker; in this case the session must two chairs. 

l  Each symposium proposal should list 4-6 speakers and last 2-3 hours (each speaker will have 25+5 min talk+Q&A). Each speaker can only present once in symposium sessions during the entire CNS2023 and CJK2 meeting (i.e. one speaker can give only one talk during this Zhuhai meeting). 

l  Each symposium proposal must include speakers from at least two  CJK countries (preferably all 3 CJK countries). The number of speakers from one country should not exceed 50% of total speakers. In addition, the number of speakers from the same research institute should not exceed two.

l  Each symposium proposal must include one female speaker. We encourage speakers from non- CJK countries. The diversity and inclusiveness of the speakers within each session (nationalities, gender, and career stages) is an important criteria during the SPC review. 

l  We now expect that China will fully reopen by July 2023 and the travel restrictions due to pandemic control will be removed by then. Thus, we are planning mostly onsite meeting for CJK2. In case of unexpected travel regulations, speakers outside of China can speak online. However, we will not accept video recordings in advance. 

l  The final program will be determined by CJK2 SPC.
